Face Match API
Compare two facial images and get a similarity score, confirming the person presenting a document is the person pictured on it.
Overview
What the Face Match API does
Face Match compares two facial images and returns a similarity score indicating how likely they are to be the same person. The usual pairing is a selfie against the photograph on an identity document.
This closes the gap that document verification alone leaves open. Confirming a document is genuine proves nothing about who is holding it, and the face comparison is what ties the document to the person in front of you.
