LEI Verification API
Verify a Legal Entity Identifier and retrieve the registered entity's details, required for large-value corporate transactions.
Overview
What the LEI Verification API does
LEI Verification validates a Legal Entity Identifier code and returns the registered details of the entity behind it.
The Reserve Bank of India requires an LEI for large-value transactions by non-individual entities. Verifying it at onboarding avoids discovering a missing or lapsed identifier at the moment a payment needs to move.
