Overview

What the VPA to Account Details API does

VPA to Account Details takes a UPI virtual payment address, such as name@bank, and returns the bank account behind it along with the registered holder name.

For any business paying out over UPI, this closes a real gap. A VPA is easy to mistype and gives no visual clue about who owns it, so resolving it to a named account before the first payout prevents money reaching the wrong person.
