What the Current Employment Details API does
Current Employment Details answers the question underwriters ask first: is this applicant employed, and by whom. It returns the present employer, the role on record, the employment type and how long the person has been in the job.
Because it draws on provident fund filings rather than documents the applicant supplies, it is resistant to the forged offer letters and edited payslips that turn up regularly in lending applications.
