Face Liveness API

Detect whether a face is a real, live person rather than a photo, video or mask, blocking presentation attacks during onboarding.

Overview

What the Face Liveness API does

Face Liveness determines whether the face presented to the camera belongs to a real person who is physically present, or to a spoof: a printed photo, a screen replay or a mask.

Without it, remote face verification is straightforward to defeat. Anyone holding a photograph of the customer could pass a face match, so liveness is what makes the comparison meaningful.
